Dublin could be getting its very own cereal-only café
THE IRISH OWNERS OF the UKS’s first ever cereal café have said they might consider opening another café dedicated to the breakfast treat in Dublin.
Belfast brothers Alan and Gary Keery are opening a cereal-only café in London on December 10.
The Cereal Killer Café will be stocked with over 100 brands of cereal, which punters can pair with 12 different types of milk and toppings of their choice.
Speaking to John Murray on RTÉ Radio 1 this morning, Gary Keery said that given the reaction the café has gotten in Ireland, they might consider opening another one here:
Here are five other things we learned about the cereal-mad Keery brothers this morning:
1. They came up with the idea for a cereal café when out for lunch one day

2. Gary’s favourite cereal is ‘peanut butter-flavoured’
Though he concedes it isn’t that popular over on this side of the Atlantic.
3. They don’t think porridge is a ‘real cereal’

And it won’t be served at the café. Controversial choice (but mainly due to the fact that they don’t have a license to serve hot food).
4. They have “30 to 40″ boxes of cereal in their apartment
WHERE DO THEY KEEP THEM ALL?
5. The Honey Monster is a fan

The Sugar Puffs mascot has gotten in touch to say he wants to come down to the café’s opening day. If that isn’t a ringing endorsement, we don’t know what is.
